Your Questions About Real Estate Band Shows

Jenny asks…

Where in Colorado should I move to?

I live in East Texas and I have had just about enough of this humid and sweltering climate. I am coming to Colorado in June to drive around for a couple weeks and get a feel for the area. I am looking for a small to midsized town to relocate to. I love quaint old towns with lots of character. Population can be anywhere from 4,000 to 40,000, just so long as it has that “small town feel.” I would love to find someplace that is family oriented and has a good sense of community with lots of activities. I also love live music and bands so a dance hall type place would be a bonus. I want to be within 10 minutes from a major grocery store, Lowe’s, etc and 30 minutes to an hour from decent shopping (mall, Macy’s). I would love a town in the mountains, however my research has shown that most of them are winter tourist towns and real estate is through the roof. I have Broomfield, Castle Rock, and Canon City on my list to visit so far. I would appreciate any input and/or advise!

Your Questions About Real Estate Band Shows

Philadelphia Real Estate answers:

Broomfield is more of a major suburb than small town. Castle Rock and Canon City are either terrific choices, and would probably fit you pretty well. Castle Rock, because it’s just south of Denver, is going to have a more suburban feel, and it’s also close to a major mall (Park Meadows) and an outlet mall is actually in Castle Rock. Great schools with a great voucher program.

Canon City is more of a true Colorado small town. Very sunny and warm, but less wealthy and suburban than Castle Rock. It has a very nice downtown area and is very family-oriented.

Colorado is a conservative, family-oriented state. So just about wherever you end up you will probably enjoy it.

Your Questions About Real Estate Band Shows

Susan asks…

I never thought I’d say this, but Guitar Hero 5 is actually pretty good…?

I’m more than stoked that they have songs by Darker My Love, Darkest Hour, A Perfect Circle, Sunny Day Real Estate (I was happy), The Bronx, The Sword, Johnny Cash, and Vampire Weekend. All my complaints about corporate rock bands being on there are finally gone now, and it makes me happy. However, Johnny Cash being a character on there is offensive to a fan like me. I don’t know why, it just is. It’d be like Dimebag Darrell rising from the dead and playing a show on that game, it just doesn’t work.

Anyways, what do you all think?

Philadelphia Real Estate answers:

Honey, I doubt if anyone in the History section of Arts & Humanities is willing to do your homework for you.

Instead, I recommend you re-post your extensive homework questions in the Homework Help section of Education & Reference.

On a related note: You do know that your local public library and information found for you by a reference/information librarian is only a phone call away, don’t you? Also, most public libraries in the US have an electronic question/answer service, often called Ask A Librarian, available as a link usually from the library home page. Using either method would get you your answer a lot faster.

Best wishes
